KD—Lounge | Tools 'R' Us

The KD Lounge is a public lecture series at the HTWG (University of Applied Science) in Konstanz, Germany. In it, renowned designers, studios or agencies are invited to give a lecture that is meant to inspire the young, budding designers and provide exciting insights into the working world. Everything is organized by and for students and on a non-profit basis. The budget for the series is generated through the sale of lovingly crafted merchandise and local sponsors. In collaboration with Sophia Carloni, Alex Wastl and Lisa Sonntag we developed a content concept, a visual branding as well as various promotional materials and 3D animations for each lecture of the series. Furthermore, we designed and produced the merchandise, invited the speakers, took care of everything organizational in the background and threw a big party. We are proud to announce that the project was awarded by ADC (Art Directors Club) with a silver and a bronze nail as well as an award. Big thanks to Lola Nübling for photography, Kim Dennis Sieber for sound design and Marius di Noro for helping us with producing the merchandise.
