In the semester course Multiscript Typography, the task was to comprehensively analyze a foreign writing system. My group chose the beautiful chinese Hànzì. The challenge here was to make this very complex and different writing system comprehensible from a typographic point of view. The results were bundled in a printed compendium, an explanatory poster and a 30-minutes 3D animated educational film.
